Now, your phone probably shortly shows a message "Searching for devices" and soon a dialog with title "Searching" and list of BT devices found so far. After a while the searching finishes and the title changes to "Devices found:". Your Bluetooth GPS name should be included in the list. If you have already have used Bluetooth search since you last powered up the phone, the search does not start automatically, but the phone shows a dialog with title "Last devices found:" and a list of device names. If your GPS in not in the list, scroll to "More devices" and press soft key "Select". A new search should start and if your GPS is in order, its name should soon appear in the list. |
Select your Bluetooth GPS device name from the appearing list. |
You may need to enter a pass code for your GPS receiver. Refer to your GPS
documentation to obtain the right passkey.
Now your GPS receiver's Bluetooth device name should be included in your
phone's Paired devices list. The Bluetooth pairing procedure is finished. You can press the Exit soft key. |
