With this utility you can measure round-trip-delays and detect packet loss across network nodes. The utility also shows your phone's current local IP and DNS addresses. SECTION 2 - RELEASE NOTES ========================= Application version: 1.13(067) Release note: This application is intended for S60 2nd Edition phones. SECTION 3 - USER GUIDE ====================== 1) Before using the Ping utility, you must have configured a TCP/IP GPRS/3G access point to your phone. 2) After installation, run application. 3) After launching the application, when you first time execute the Ping command, after entering the host IP or URL, the phone should ask you to select an access point. (Provided that the setting "Ask before connecting" is turned on, otherwise the phone may automatically select the first available access point from the list in the connection settings.) Select the Internet (TCP/IP) access point from the list. MMS and WAP access points do not work with Ping! (If you don't see an Internet access point in the list, try to find out from your cellular operator, how to add it.) 4) You can see your phone's external IP address and other network parameters with the "Tools" -> "Interface info" command while connected.
